Opening and evolution

The opening is rich and immediately comforting. Amber jamid appears from the first seconds, wrapped in myrrh and a touch of orange flower that creates the impression of freshly cleaned warm skin. The sweetness is rounded and compact, not airy.

As it develops, incense deepens the amber without turning smoky. It adds quiet vertical depth, like a shadow behind the glow. A soft soap nuance moves through the heart, not as detergent freshness, but as a clean, polished surface inside the resin.

The drydown is long and enveloping. Olibanum reinforces the resinous core with a dry, slightly lemony lift that keeps the amber from becoming heavy. Musk and restrained vanilla extend the warmth and help the scent cling closely to skin. The result is thick, glowing, and persistent, more aura than trail.

The story

Amber jamid is a traditional solid amber accord that has existed for over a thousand years. It is not one material, but a constructed balance designed to bind warmth, sweetness, and depth into a compact scent that sits calmly on skin.

At its core is sandalwood powder, which gives body and a soft woody cushion. Vanillin adds gentle sweetness that feels rounded rather than sugary. Patchouli introduces earth and shadow so the sweetness does not flatten. Champaca contributes a subtle creamy warmth that lifts the blend without turning it floral.

Labdanum and benzoin form the resinous heart. The labdanum is dark and ambery with a leathery undertone. Benzoin smooths the texture with balsamic softness. A civette reconstruction adds a quiet animalic pulse that keeps the amber alive and human.

07 Golden Amber was created to capture this traditional amber jamid in liquid form. The goal was to offer a deep Arabic inspired warmth without relying on oud. It took two years to balance the density of the original solid accord into a stable perfume concentration while keeping its intimacy and glow.

Deep, glowing, and intimate, it is built to feel addictive without being loud, rich without excess, and comforting without vagueness. This is amber as presence rather than statement. Warm, grounded, and quietly powerful once it settles on skin.
