Opening and evolution
The opening is immediately floral, with frangipani at the centre, lit by sweet orange and mandarin. The effect is sun warmed rather than sparkling. A faint dryness from pink pepper sits on top, just enough to keep the flower lifted.
As it settles, a quiet warmth appears, neither smoky nor heavy, a kind of resinous glow that gives the floral heart depth. In the drydown, layered sandalwoods bring a milky, creamy calm. The flower stays soft, wrapped in benzoin and a restrained touch of vanilla. Coconut lactone hums underneath, almost imperceptible, like skin warmed in the sun. The result stays close for hours.

The story
01 Vintage Frangipanii is built around frangipani, a flower often called tropical, but here treated in a more Mediterranean way. The note is fresh at first, lightly citrusy, then slowly becomes narcotic and creamy. The composition uses a layered sandalwood structure for warmth and comfort, wound through with benzoin resin and a quiet trail of vanilla.
This perfume was created as an ode to the perfumer's mother and her lifelong love for frangipani. The aim was purity and clarity, fewer lines in the formula, fewer distractions, and a direct focus on the beauty of the flower. With just over thirty ingredients the composition stays simple but expressive. It is a perfume about enjoying life and holding past and present at the same time. Calm, floral, and quietly radiant.
How to wear: Spray half on skin and half on clothing for the most balanced and lasting result. Each bottle is made by hand in Amsterdam.
