Opening and evolution
Ginger and bergamot give the opening a bright, spicy lift. Underneath, a wall of patchouli, clean and dark rather than hippie, meets a rose otto accord that softens the edges. Frankincense drives the spicy fire through the heart. Its pinenes and olibanol carry a dry, peppery quality that sits naturally next to ginger and clove notes. The base is deep and balsamic. Vanillin, benzoin, styrax and clean musks give it lasting presence without weight.

The story
09 Pimenta, Set out with rose, spice and patchouli, and when the test strips came back the fire was unmistakable. The peppery character does not come from any pepper material. It comes from frankincense, the rose accord, and a spice stack that includes ginger, eugenol and cinnamic notes layered through the formula. With over forty ingredients including ten natural essentials, this is a perfume that smells simple but builds with depth.
How to wear: One spray on pulse points is enough. This one projects. Every bottle is made one by one in Amsterdam.
